ESDA Activated spotters for Champaign County last night around 9pm.
Josh and I were paired up and sent to 1500N and 200E, about a mile south of Seymour.
It was pretty uneventful on our first spot, but we got to see the storm and a nice lightning show.
It was a good first spot to learn the ropes a little bit and listen to how they do things.
I took pretty good notes of the whole thing. I’ll post a link to them as soon as I get them typed up and formatted.
Looks like a good start to the season!!
I gotta say, I think it’s pretty cool that you’re a spotter.
Coworker: “Last night was great, I finally cleaned the spare room. What did you do?”
Ryan: “Not much, just radioed in some tornados.”
