Some storms passed to the north and south of us around 1830 today.
I decided to take a few pictures from my balcony and make a panorama.
View is from due east at the left to due south at the right.

Part of the fun part of storm spotting is learning how to read radar.
This one is pretty obvious, but its still cool to know I can pick them out.

ESDA Activated spotters for Champaign County last night around 9pm.
Josh and I were paired up and sent to 1500N and 200E, about a mile south of Seymour.

It was pretty uneventful on our first spot, but we got to see the storm and a nice lightning show.
It was a good first spot to learn the ropes a little bit and listen to how they do things.

I took pretty good notes of the whole thing. I’ll post a link to them as soon as I get them typed up and formatted.

Looks like a good start to the season!!
